Citi Brokerage believes that the risk-reward is much better in the case of large caps as compared to mid-caps. Domestic mutual fund inflows particularly in mid-caps have resulted in strong outperformance for the mid-cap index in the calendar years 2020 and 2021, taking it to a significant valuation premium over the large-cap index.The brokerage also believes that domestic mutual fund inflows have continued to be resilient so far & which could continue to support mid-caps.
