TRS-friendly party AIMIM to RJD, AAP, TMC, DMK, CPM, Shiv Sena abandoned CM KCR on BRS

Hyderabad: TRS general body meeting which was held at TRS Bhavan unanimously took the decision to rechristen TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) to BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samiti). On the other hand, opposition parties in Telangana launched a scathing attack against CM KCR.

CM KCR in the recent past has seen meeting several opposition leaders across the country. He met Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Bihar Dy. CM Tejaswi Yadav, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, WB CM Mamata Benerjee, Maharashtra Former CM Uddhav Thackeray, Tamilnadu CM MK Stalin and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, and discussed national politics and how all opposition parties excluding INC should unite and fight against BJP. CM KCR is also in his public meetings seen giving "BJP Mukht Bharat" slogans but when it comes to the ground it looks like no one supported him.

Starting from TRS-friendly party AIMIM to other opposition parties like RJD, AAP, TMC, DMK, and CPM, Shiv Sena abandoned CM KCR on his big decision to go national and launch a national party today. The other opposition parties not extending support to BRS clearly shows CM KCR is not having any support on the ground.

Bandi Sanjay, Telangana BJP President tweeted stating, TwitterTillu (KTR) Claimed to be Game Changers. But my father (CM KCR) became a Name Changer. People are the ultimate Fate Changers !!

K Krishna Sagar Rao, Chief Spokesperson, BJP Telangana State said, CM KCR's misadventures in planning national political entry while struggling to keep his government operational financially is an unworthy exercise. This is not the first time a regional party nurtured national ambition. Many regional parties since 1947 have tried and failed. AIDMK, DMK, TDP, SP, BSP, RJD, JD (U), TMC and recently Aam Admi Party are a few. I am wondering how, by just changing the name from TRS to BRS, a party can become a national party. A party need to get quantifiable voter support in multiple states for it to be recognized as a national party.

He added BJP believes there's no 'Telangana Model' and it exists only in the fictitious imagination of CM KCR. One can't sell a model to the nation, which doesn't exist. I strongly believe CM KCR's initiative will be self-sabotage. Change of the name from TRS to BRS will lead to losing his home turf, while he embarks on a wasteful national ambition.

Revanth Reddy, TPCC Chief & MP said that today CM KCR has killed the Telangana name which is very unfortunate. Because CM KCR noticed that now his politics can’t survive, he is trying to divide Telangana's name from the people.
