Although Jio has not officially confirmed the JioPhone 5G launch date, online leaks of the device's specs have already begun. The upcoming JioPhone 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 480 SoC along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, according to a fresh leak. The 5G phone is rumoured to have a 90Hz refresh rate display and run Android 12.
A 13-megapixel primary sensor is said to be the focal point of the dual rear camera system on the JioPhone 5G. Additionally, the code name and model number of the upcoming phone are suggested by the purported firmware data. In order to introduce a low-cost 5G smartphone, Reliance has already acknowledged that it is collaborating with Google. It has also announced an Rs. 2 lakh crore investment to deploy 5G connectivity in India.
The JioPhone 5G, code-named "ganga," and model number LS1654QB5, according to the report, has allegedly had its firmware details and key specifications leaked by Kuba Wojciechowski (@Za Raczke) in association with 91Mobiles. It is rumoured to be branded as the Jio Phone True 5G and could be released alongside LYF.

According to the leak, the upcoming JioPhone 5G will come pre-installed with Android 12 and have a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It might include a Snapdragon 480 SoC under the hood, along with 32GB of storage and 4GB of LPPDDR4X RAM from Samsung.
The JioPhone 5G is rumoured to have two rear cameras, one with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and the other with a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front of the 5G phone might have an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies. Connectivity options on the smartphone are believed to include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth v5.1. It is reported to arrive pre-loaded with Google Mobile Services and Jio apps.
On the JioPhone 5G, Jio is anticipated to include a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The phone is also rumoured to include a Syntiant NDP115 always-on AI processor inside. Recently, Reliance announced that it is collaborating with Google to introduce a low-cost 5G smartphone. Additionally, the company disclosed an Rs. 2 lakh crore investment plan for bringing next-generation 5G services to India in two months. A recent report by Counterpoint Research suggests that the cost of the upcoming gadget could range from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000.
