Gurugram: According to the latest reports, Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav is currently admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Medanta hospital in Gurugram and is being treated by a comprehensive team of specialists. Doctors have reportedly said that the next 24 hours were going to be very critical. Notably, the former CM of Uttar Pradesh was hospitalised and later shifted to the intensive care unit of Medanta Hospital after his health condition deteriorated on Sunday.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath dialled Akhilesh Yadav and enquired about his father, Mulayam Singh Yadav's health. The UP CM also spoke to the doctors of Medanta hospital and asked them to provide excellent treatment to the senior leader.
Mulayam Singh Yadav was suffering from a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) and was shifted to ICU owing to breathlessness and kidney complications. However, when his condition didn't improve, he was put on ventilator support, TOI reported quoting sources.
Bihar Cm Nitish Kumar also enquired about Mulayam Singh Yadav's health and wished for a speedy recovery. "On getting information about the deteriorating health of Samajwadi Party Patron Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav ji, after talking to his son and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Akhilesh Yadav ji on phone inquired about Mulayam Singh ji's health. Wishing him a speedy recovery," a tweet by the Bihar CM read.
As per reports, Mulayam Singh Yadav's younger brother Abhay Ram Yadav is taking stock of the situation in Gurugram.
