Gurugram cops attacked by miscreants after PCR call over medical shop brawl

A chemist had complained regarding unknown people, who refused to pay the medicine cost. The incident reportedly occurred on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
Gurugram: In yet another shocking incident, a group of men allegedly attacked a police team which went to the spot after receiving a PCR call regarding a quarrel at a medicine shop in Haryana's Gurugram. Three police officials were injured in the alleged gruesome attack and their convoy was damaged.
A chemist had complained regarding unknown people, who refused to pay the medicine cost. The incident reportedly occurred on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.
A video of the incident went viral on social media and the accused could be seen damaging the police van. The injured police officials are being treated at a nearby hospital.
The accused reportedly fled the scene after attacking the police team.
As per reports, when the cops reached the spot after receiving the call, a few men attacked them with wooden sticks. The cops were allegedly thrashed with sticks and their convoys were vandalised by the miscreants.
Gurugram police have formed teams to arrest all the accused and CCTV footage is being examined.
