Now, a viral video on social media shows how a mountain lion, also known as cougar or puma, hid behind shrubbery to avoid a jogger heading down a street in a neighbourhood in Ojai, California. “Wild animals will avoid conflict with humans in a majority of situations. They react only when threatened,” Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda explained in a Twitter post sharing the footage.
