Akash Ambani drives dad’s new Bentley Bentayga V8 worth Rs 4.10 crore, takes wife Shloka to meet Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt

New Delhi: With an $80.5 billion net worth, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Reliance Industries (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani, 65, is known for his ultra-luxurious life. From ‘Antilia’—Ambani’s multi-storey residence in south Mumbai—to a fleet of some of the world’s most luxurious cars, the Ambanis are known for their rich and luxurious lifestyle.
In July this year, the Ambanis added a white-coloured Bentley Bentayga V8 to their fleet of ultra-luxury cars, and it was the third Bentley Bentayga owned by the industrialist.
Worth mentioning here is that Ambani’s fleet of cars includes Maybach 62, Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, Bentley Bentaygas and Range Rover Vogue among others.
Recently, a video of Akash Ambani—the eldest son of Mukesh Ambani and Reliance Jio chairman—driving a brand new Bentley Bentayga V8 owned by his father surfaced on social media. He went to meet his friends and Bollywood star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt at their ‘Vastu’ apartment in Bandra suburb's Pali Hill.
The video shows the Jio boss driving the luxury car with his wife Shloka Mehta sitting next to him. However, the details of the visit and the date of the video were not known.
According to media reports, the Ambanis already own two other Bentaygas in brown and racing green colours from the W12 family. Also, Bentley offers only Bentayga V8, which was reportedly spotted outside the Antilia in 2021, in India.
The super luxury SUV has a price of Rs 4.10 crore (ex-showroom Delhi), subject to exchange rate fluctuations and options, and it boasts of a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine or a 3.0-litre hybrid.
It features a 3996cc engine and has a mileage of 7.6kmpl, as per the British luxury car company. The SUV can accelerated from 0 to 100 km per hour in mere 4.5 seconds.
The SUV is equipped with a next-generation infotainment system with a 10.9-inch screen, super-high-resolution graphics and dramatically increased connectivity.
In 2021, the Ambanis were the first to receive the W12 variant in India. It is believed to be the only Bentley in India to come with the Breitling Mulliner Tourbillion watch—priced at about Rs 1 crore.
