RICHA CHADHA’S TWEET SPARKS CONTROVERSY
Richa re-shared the tweet of the Indian Army, where they mentioned retaking Pakistan-occupied Kashmir if the government issues such an order. The tweet read, "We r fully prepared to take back PoK from Pakistan. We r waiting the orders from the govt. We will complete the operation quickly. Before that if Pakistan is violating ceasefire, the answer will be different, even they can not imagine - Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command IA."
Richa re-shared and captioned it, "Galwan says hi". Take a look at the tweet below:

Netizens trolled Richa after her comment. The President of the Indian Film & Television Directors' Association, Ashoke Pandit wrote, "One of the #urbannaxals & apologists in the film industry #RichaChadha is mocking the ultimate sacrifice of our brave soldiers from Galwan. Shame on her . जवानों का मज़ाक़ उड़ाने वालों को यह देश और कुदरत कभी माफ़ नहीं करेगा !"

One netizen wrote, "Galwan says hi" writes Richa Chadha in response to a statement by a commanding officer on POK. Disrespecting those who gave their lives for India. Mocking the Indian army. She proves once again there is no limit to how low this industry can sink. A boycott is all they are worth."

It is noteworthy that in June 2020, Chinese and Indian soldiers clashed in the Galwan valley, resulting in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers. In the hours-long battle, several Chinese soldiers also lost their lives, but China has never publicly stated how many of its own troops were killed. That fight resulted in significant casualties on both sides.
Even though both of these Asian superpowers have close to 60,000 soldiers each and cutting-edge weapons stationed in the region, there has been a tense ceasefire in the Ladakh theater area.
