In honour of Independence Day 2022, actor Hrithik Roshan sang a new song, Hindustan Meri Jaan, for his fans. Hrithik shared a video on Instagram on Monday night of sportspersons and athletes representing India in events as they trained for, competed in, and won them. A glimpse of India's space programmes was also seen in the music video. The video included appearances by the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy.
The film also highlighted different regions, people, and cultures of the nation. It included aircraft flying in Vic formation and painting the tricolour in the sky. Cheer for India was the final line in the video. The song's lyrics read as follows, "Hindustaan Meri Jaan Hai/Hindustaan/Meri Jaan, Meri Shaan Hai/Hindustaan/Hum Karte Hai Yeh Wada Maa/Tere Aankhon Mein Ek Aansoon Na Aane Denge De Denge Jaan."
Hrithik captioned the post, "Felt it. Sang it. Put some shots together to present it. It’s better on headphones although won’t make the bad singing better. In hope and dedicated to the true spirit of freedom. Freedom for every single individual. Thank you @jackkybhagnani for allowing me to use your creation. Thank you @vishalmishraofficial, been humming this since I heard this wonderful track."

Several people commented on the video in response, appreciating the actor. Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik's father and a filmmaker, wrote, "Hair raising! Jai Hind." Sussanne Khan commented, "Fab God bless you Rye (Hrithik). To always motivate and inspire all of us in the newest ways! This is amazing."
Shweta Bachchan, the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan, shared an emoji of hand clapping. Actress Saba Azad, Hrithik's girlfriend, dropped a number of black heart emojis.
Hrithik will next be seen in Vikram Vedha alongside Radhika Apte, Saif Ali Khan, and others. On September 30, the movie is expected to be released. It is an official Hindi remake of the same-titled Tamil movie. In addition, Hrithik will co-star with Deepika Padukone in the film Fighter.
