Akshay Kumar dropped the first teaser of his upcoming film Ram Setu. The trailer stars with a helicopter flying above the famed Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar revealing they have only three days to save the natural structure. The film releases on October 25 and also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles.

Even though Bollywood star Akshay Kumar's last three releases - Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj and Raksha Bandhan failed to create magic at the box office, while his latest OTT release Cuttputlli met with mixed reviews, the actor will soon be back with his new film Ram Setu. The makers have also announced the release date of the upcoming film.
Akshay Kumar shared a new poster of the film featuring him, along with the release date of the film, which is October 25, 2022. In the caption, the actor gave an update to his fans, as he wrote, “Come join us and be a part of this exciting journey…/ Worldwide first glimpse of Ram Setu, today at 12 noon”, in Hindi. The update has already received over 4 lakh likes on social media.

The trailer stars with a helicopter flying above the famed Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar revealing they have only three days to save the natural structure. The high octane action entertainer is an action and colour riot which sees Akshay in his element fighting baddies while trying to save the legendary bridge.
The teaser ends with what appears like Akshay Kumar underwater, as he says, "Approaching Ram Setu." The tune of ‘Ram Ram’ in a peppy avatar keeps on playing at the background. The teaser is around a minute long. Check it out here:
The film stars Akshay Kumar, Satya Dev, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Nasser, Pravesh Rana and Jennifer Piccinato while it has been written and directed by Abhishek Sharma.
The official synopsis of the film reads, "An atheist archaeologist turned believer must race against time to prove the true existence of the legendary Ram Setu before evil forces destroy the pillar of India’s heritage.”
