After Aryan Khan, now another starkid has come under the scanner in a drug bust. As per reports, cops raided a high-end hotel in Bengaluru on the night of June 12. The Park Hotel Bengaluru was raided by cops on suspicion that drugs were being consumed at a party being held there. Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhanth Kapoor was present at the party.
As per reports, 35 people were made to undergo drug tests, of which 5 results have turned positive. Incidentally, some B-town celebrities were also reported to have been at the venue during the raids, but cops are yet to confirm the identities.
However, reports suggest that Siddhanth Kapoor, who was at the party was made to undergo drug test as well and his results have come back positive. Further reports are awaited on the same.
As per news agency ANI, Bengaluru Police has stated that Siddhanth Kapoor is among 6 people allegedly found to have consumed drugs.
Notably, Siddhant has worked as an assistant director in films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Chup Chup Ke among others. He as also featured in films Haseena Parkar, Chehre and Jazbaa.
The news comes days after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, finally got a clean chit in the drugs bust case that he was embroiled in.
Aryan got a clean chit more than eight months after he was arrested along with some others during a drug bust on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) gave a clean chit to Aryan Khan, due to lack of ‘sufficient evidence’ against him in the drugs-on-cruise case.
As per reports, the NCB also informed Mumbai court that they had not named Aryan, Gopal Anand, Avin Shhau, Samit Saighan, Bhaskar Aroda and Manav Singhal in the nearly 6,000 page chargesheet owing to insufficient evidence.
