Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. aka Suzuki two-wheelers launched the Katana motorcycle in India. Introduced back in 1981 the bike derived its name from the legendary Japanese Katana sword. The Katana was in production from 1981-2006, then after a long absence, Suzuki revived the Katana nameplate in 2019. The motorcycle now makes its way into the Indian market in 2022.
