We are halfway through the year 2022 and have witnessed a number of recording-breaking blockbusters and even disasters at the box office. The second half of the year is very interesting at the box office, considering much-awaited films will be releasing now such as Brahmastra, Cirkus, Ek Villian Returns, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Ram Setu, among others.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan earned handsomely at the box office, while The Kashmir Files created a storm. However, there were a few films that bombed at the box office such as Attack: Part One, Kaun Pravin Tambe?, Jersey, Dhaakad, and Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

The Kashmir Files:
Vivek Agnihotri's film minted Rs 340. 16 crores at the box office. Not only did it ended up reviving the box office but also became a topic of discussion among people everywhere. The film starred Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumaar, among others.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2:
Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has till now earned Rs 262.04 crore and it is still running in selective theatres.
Gangubai Kathiawadi:
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi earned Rs 209.25 at the box office. Alia Bhatt's performance was also lauded by many. In fact, the film even worked well on OTT platform.
RRR:
SS Rajamouli's RRR pulled off a gigantic number of 1144 crore as its closing number at the worldwide box office.
KGF 2:
Yash-starrer KGF 2 earned Rs 1198 crore at the worldwide box office. The film's domestic collection stands at Rs 992 crore approx.
JugJugg Jeeyo:
The film stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. The film, which was released on June 24, has until now managed to earn Rs 81.13 crores at the box office in just one week.
