Union minister Kiren Rijiju called took the Twitter to call her a pride of the country. She has won the gold medal in women's badminton championship. She had won bronze in Glasgow and Silver in 2018. She has defeated Canadian Michelle Li despite of being injured, her performance was very dominating. This is her first gold medal in the Commonwealth Games.
