Shah Rukh Khan will make his long-awaited return to the big screen in 2023 with Pathaan. However, he will first be seen in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect in a cameo. Now, SRK has received accolades from the film's lead actor R Madhavan, who also wrote, produced, and directed the movie.
SRK has always been a favourite of Madhavan's, and the superstar is also a big favourite of his wife, Sarita Birje. Madhavan recently recounted how the Chennai Express actor always went over and beyond to make Sarita feel special whenever they interacted.
After making his Bollywood debut in 2001 with the movie Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Madhavan was asked how he felt about the comparisons made between his and SRK's acting techniques.
He responded to Bollywood Hungama by saying, “I think my stammering in that film was associated with that of Shah Rukh's debut. And my wife is a huge huge fan of his. He has gone out of his way every time we have met to make her feel special. I will never forget that. I have learned how to be a star, and how to make people's life easier largely from Shah Rukh."
Speaking about SRK filming for Rocketry: The Nambi Effect Madhavan referred to him as a 'very kind-hearted soul'. He also said that SRK never took money from him for caravan, assistance, costume, or anything. He just came and he was there for him on all the days he asked.
On July 1, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which is based on the biography of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and space engineer at ISRO who was charged with espionage, will have its global premiere. The movie was simultaneously recorded in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, as well as Hindi, Tamil, and English. Madhavan's debut effort as a director is this movie.
