"Just because I work at McDonald's, it does not make me less of a person," said a woman who was recently belittled by a customer for her line of work.
She has now gone viral and earned a league of fans on social for defending her profession and work in a dignified manner.

So when this young lady was berated by a customer for working in McDonald's, she decided to hit back with a strong reply that has now gone viral and earned her fans.
The woman, who goes by Aleeza on TikTok, said she was belittled by the customer who was attempting to pay for his food with a fake $50 note.
Filing herself outside the McDonald's drive-thru where the man came to place his order, Aleeza said she's not any less of a person by working in McDonald's.
She also urged others to respect people who work in fast food joints.
The woman said the customer started throwing pennies at her after she rejected his fake $50 note. He even insulted her by saying she shouldn't forget she works at McDonald's.
"Dude started throwing pennies at me, calling me out my name, talking 'bout 'don't forget you work at McDonald's' - so what? What's that supposed to mean? Yeah, I work at McDonald's. You must have no food in your refrigerator if you want to come to McDonald's and eat" said Aleeza.
The TikTok clip has now collected lakhs of views. It has also been circulated on other social media platforms.
Many praised the McDonald's worker for her professionalism and the dignified manner in which she dealt with the customer.
A user wrote, "You're intelligent, hard-working, quick to solve problems, punctual, and don't let anyone take that away from you."
"Food service Jobs are important jobs. You're out there providing for yourself...aiain't nothing wrong with that," wrote another.
