Raju Srivastava's funeral

Comedian Raju Srivastava breathed his last on September 21, 2022. After a 40-day battle in the ICU after having suffered a major heart attack, the comedian finally bid adieu to the world, leaving millions of broken hearts in his wake. Today, he was cremated at the Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi, with his son performing his final rites.

His mortal remains were taken in an ambulance covered with white flowers to the crematorium around 9 in the morning for the funeral. His son Ayushmaan performed the last rites as per Hindu rituals.

Rohan Joshi issues clarification on remarks against Raju Srivastava's death

While the whole country was mourning Raju Srivastava's death, fellow comedian Rohan Joshi took to social media to pen down distasteful remarks against his demise. Even concluding it with a "good riddance." After being bashed for the same, he clarified his stance, stating, "Yehi soch kar delete kiya kyuki after a minute of anger I realised today is not about my personal feelings. Sorry if it hurt and thanks for the perspective."

But thanks to technology, we stay connected through facetime at times. Sometimes she gets angry and upset with me. Her favourite colour is pink and she loves hair bands and clips. So when she gets upset, I gift her a pink hair band and she becomes happy," he said.
