The K-Pop girl group, Blackpink is all set for their much-awaited and highly anticipated comeback. BLINKs could not be happier as the band is ready to drop their album, Born Pink. The wait has been long but it is about to be over now.
The announcement for their album was made by their agency, YG Entertainment, earlier last month. Along with the teaser poster, they also shared a series of other content and details. While there is still time before the album is here, it is safe to say that they are already heading towards a historic comeback.
Well, that’s what their pre-order numbers suggest. As per the data shared by YG Entertainment on August 18, it was revealed that the pre-order sales of BLACKPINK's upcoming second full-length album, Born Pink surpassed 1.5 million copies in just one week.
As the release date is still almost a month away that is September 16, we can surely predict that the pre-order numbers will go beyond 2 million. If the pace remains, then it could maybe even surpass the 3 million mark.
While the album is slated to release on September 16, BLINKs don't have to wait that long since the group’s single Pink Venom and its music video will be pre-released on August 19th at 1 pm KST (9:30 am IST).
Meanwhile, the album isn’t the only thing that fans are looking forward to as the girls have also announced their concert tour. For the Born Pink globe tour, Blackpink has revealed a list of the places they would be visiting.
According to the tour's poster, it will begin in October with two performances on the 15th and 16th in Seoul. The girls will then fly off to the United States, where they have concerts on October 25 and 26, respectively, in Dallas and Houston.
