New Delhi: Mumbai-based low-cost carrier Go First's Twitter account was hacked on Wednesday morning. The airline’s Twitter name was changed to 'vitalik.eth' while its bio read, “Ethereum Fable of the Dragon Tyrant (not mine but it's important): https://youtube.com/watch?v=cZYNADOHhVY… Abolish daylight savings time and leap seconds.”

While the hacker/hackers did not tweet anything from the carrier’s handle, they did put several cryptocurrency-related responses to other tweets, tagging billionaire Elon Musk. “2 day left before Merge, Ethereum Foundation giving away 100,000 ETH! First come, first serve ➡️ http://vitalik-merge.org. You can only participate once," the reply read.
Go First also acknowledged the hack and assured that all the concerned teams are investigating into the matter to restore and gain control at the earliest. “Our team is working closely with Twitter to address the issue,” the airline said in a statement.
"GO FIRST is committed to provide secure, safe and efficient service/information to it passengers at all times," it added.
