Actor Kartik Aaryan, who is currently basking the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, has been tested positive for Covid-19. Confirming the same, the actor took to Twitter to announce the news. This is the second time that he has contracted the virus.

Sharing a picture of himself with folded hands, he hilariously wrote, “Sab kuch itna positive chal raha tha, Covid se raha nahi gaya (Everything was going so well, Covid couldn’t bear to be left out).”

As soon as he tweeted, his fans rushed to the comment section to wish him a speedy recovery. While one user wrote, “Don’t worry Rooh Baba ..ulb fine .you really need rest after the hectic promotional schedule”, the other user commented, “Omggg take care of yourself 🥺🥺❤️. Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️❤️❤️. Sorry for ranting too much about you going. Now get well soon.”

Kartik has been busy promoting his latest film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film has been roaring at the box office and is set to enter Rs 150 crore club by this weekend. According to the trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, the film has so far minted Rs 144.56 crore at the ticket window and continues to maintain a steady growth on its third Friday, as well.

Talking about the success of of the film, Kartik had previously said, “During a time like this, having delivered a 100 crore collection within the first 9 days of release alone is the most surreal feeling as an actor. I knew the film would do well, but couldn't have imagined it like this.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, he will be next seen in Shehzada. He also has Hansal Mehta’s Captain India, Freddy and Sajid Nadiadwala’s untitled project in his pipeline.
