Punjab Governor Approves Special Assembly Session On Sept 7 Amid Back-And-Forth With AAP

According to the most recent updates from Mirror Now, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit has now agreed to attend a special assembly session, which will be on September 7, Tuesday. This was the demand of the Punjab chief minister in the Punjab assembly. Earlier, Governor Purohit had cancelled the AAP government's plan for a special assembly session where the AAP was to bring a confidence motion. After the cancellation, chief minister Bhagwant Mann was furious, and AAP workers came to protest against the governor. The AAP government had meant to seek a trust vote in the session and prove its majority amid the BJP's alleged attempts at conducting an "Operation Lotus".
