Ayan Mukerji compares Shah Rukh Khan's Brahmastra cameo to THIS Marvel superhero

Ayan Mukerji recently opened up on Shah Rukh's camero in Brahmastra, stating that if the audience looks closely at SRK’s scenes, they’d release that their ‘tone is a bit like Iron Man-like’. RK, in his extended cameo, plays scientist Mohan Bhargav, who wields the Vanarastra in the Astraverse. Following the release of the film, fans have even started a petition for a spinoff featuring only Shah Rukh Khan'scharacter.

Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra has become the biggest Bollywood hit of 2022. The Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt film, even though, it opened to mixed reviews, has gone on to break several box office records.

And while the film also has actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna, it is Shah Rukh Khan's cameo which has seemingly stolen the show. SRK, in his extended cameo, plays scientist Mohan Bhargav, who wields the Vanarastra in the Astraverse. Following the release of the film, fans have even started a petition for a spinoff featuring only Shah Rukh Khan'scharacter.

In an interaction with Indian Express, Ayan opened up on Shah Rukh's camero stating that if the audience looks closely at SRK’s scenes, they’d release that their ‘tone is a bit like Iron Man-like’.

Ayan also shared why he wanted Shah Rukh Khan to be a scientist in Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. Ayan said, he felt thatVanarastra can be one such astra which gives a person the power of a ‘divine’ monkey, which would surely exist in the world of science.

Meanwhile, Ayan, recently revealed that he decided to give the film a Swades connection (Shah Rukh's character in the film was also a scientist named Mohan Bhargav) as he began his career as an assistant director in Ashutosh Gowariker's film.

The actor also, during a recent interaction, revealed that not only Shah Rukh Khan’s fans, but the makers have also been thinking about a spin-off for his character. According to him, the idea was in fact first floated while they were filming the sequence.

Ayan went on to add that his team also agreed with the idea that Shah Rukh Khan’s character should not be limited to a cameo in just one film, stating that his response to the spin-off demand is that they are already thinking about it.
