Prabhas starrer Adipurush is unarguably one of the most highly awaited films in recent times. The Om Raut directorial had already generated a massive buzz among moviegoers as they cannot wait to witness Prabhas on the big screen as Lord Ram. Today, on October 2nd, the team of Adipurush unveiled its first teaser at a grand event in Ayodhya.

The hugely-anticipated teaser of Prabhas-headlined Adipurush has finally been unveiled and it is worth the wait. Adipurush teaser, which is certain to send the internet into a meltdown, offers a glimpse of Prabhas’s stunning transformation into Lord Ram for the big screen retelling of the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana.

Adipurush teaser opens with Prabhas meditating underwater as Lord Ram before he unleashes his action avatar. Saif Ali Khan makes an impressive appearance as Ravana while Kriti Sanon looks radiant as Janaki aka Sita. Besides, Adipurush also features Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame Sunny Singh in the role of Lakshman.

Reactions of cinema buffs from all over the globe are pouring in and they are certainly intrigued by what they saw. However, the initial reaction to the teaser has been rather mixed as netizens are not very pleased with the film's VFX. All eyes will now be on the trailer of Adipurush, which should be released in the coming weeks.

Adipurush teaser launch event

The team of Adipurush put together a grand event in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya, which is Lord Ram’s birthplace, to launch the teaser. Prabhas and Kriti, along with director Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar, arrived in the holy city to reveal the first look of their ambitious film.

Fans gathered in massive numbers to welcome the Baahubali fame actor in Ayodhya. Dressed in all-white, Prabhas looked as dapper as ever as people went crazy on catching a glimpse of him.

Adipurush, which promises to be a visual extravaganza, is slated to hit theatres on January 12, 2023, and will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
