Raju Srivastava currently on ventilator support as his condition remains critical : Reports

After suffering a heart attack on Wednesday, comedian turned politician Raju Srivastava was taken to AIIMS Delhi. According to reports, he is currently on ventilator support.

Stand-up comedian turned politician Raju Srivastava, who was recently brought to AIIMS Delhi after suffering a heart attack, is presently using a ventilator as per sources. Raju allegedly had an angioplasty on Wednesday after being admitted to the hospital. According to his brother Ashish Srivastava, Raju had a heart attack while exercising in a gym.
According to PTI, "Srivastava had to be resuscitated thrice. He was rushed to catheterisation lab and underwent angioplasty. He has been admitted to the coronary care unit (CCU)."
"Srivastava's angiography showed a 100 percent blockage in a major vessel. He is currently on ventilator support and his condition remains critical, " sources told India Today.
According to a report by ABP News, the comedian was in Delhi since August 1. On July 29, he travelled from Mumbai to Udaipur. On July 30, he gave a performance there before travelling back to Delhi to visit his two brothers and pals.
Yesterday (August 11) comedian Sunil Pal informed about Raju's health situation on his Instagram and said that he is now out of danger and was recovering. He also expressed his good wishes for his health and informed the fans of his improving health.
On the professional front, Raju has made a name for himself in the field of stand-up comedy with his clever jokes and humorous interpretations of some really pertinent real-life events. He gained notoriety as a result of the groundbreaking stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, which debuted its inaugural season in 2005. Its judges were Navjot Singh Sidhu and Shekhar Suman.
