Congress Leader Udit Raj Insults President Draupadi Murmu | Will Party Take Action? | India Upfront

In this episode of the India Upfront with Rahul Shivshankar, we will deliberate on the remarks issued by Congress leader Udit Raj against President Draupadi Murmu. Taking to his Twitter handle, Udit Raj used words like ‘Chamchagiri’ against the president. He said, “No country should get a President like Draupadi Murmu Ji. ‘Chamchagiri’ also has its limits. She says that 70% of people consume salt from Gujarat. If you live life by eating salt yourself, you will know.” This drew enough flak from all across the country. While the Congress leader denied apologizing for the statement, he said that the views are his personal and party has nothing to do with it. Deliberating over this, BJP Spokesperson Sanju Verma said, “Udit Raj is a repeat offender. He also tweeted a photo earlier terming Brahmins as pigs. Congress can't stand that she has broken the glass ceiling & emerged as an example of many historic firsts.” Watch to know more!#uditraj #draupadimurmu #congressRead More
