Kawasaki Ninja 650 updated with TCS

Only recently Kawasaki updated its Ninja ZX-25R motorcycle and now it has also rolled out the yearly updated iterations of the much popular Ninja 650 and the Z650 bikes. Apart from receiving new colour options for 2023, the models have also been given new features to renew their rivalry with other bikes in the segment.
The new 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Z650 bikes have received styling revisions in the form of new colour options. The faired Ninja 650 is now available in colourways such as Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray with Ebony, KRT edition that uses Lime Green paint with Ebony and Pearl Robotic White with Metallic Matte Flat Raw Graystone and Ebony. The naked counterpart of the same is now available for purchase in two options including Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray with Ebony and Metallic Spark Black with Metallic Flat Spark Black.

Another key update on both the motorcycles includes the inclusion of a two-level Traction Control System. The feature has been missing from Kawasaki's mid-weight motorcycles, while a majority of the rival bikes get the TCS as standard. The addition of this will surely attract more buyers to these bikes. That said, TCS joins the already available feature list including LED headlight, Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display, and dual-channel ABS.
The bikes remain untouched in terms of mechanicals, the 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine continues to power both the bikes and churn out 67bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,700rpm. The engine continues to come mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The bikes are also expected to make their presence felt in India soon after their international debut. These models are likely to launch in India in the first quarter of 2023.
