Jawa Yezdi Motorcycle has launched the new 42 Bobber, based on the Perak bobber, that joins its Factory Custom series of motorcycles. This series already gets the two 42 motorcycles based on the Jawa classic motorcycles.
Prices for the new 42 Bobber start from Rs 2,06,500 with the Mystic Copper color option. In Monsoon White, the bike costs Rs 2,07,500, and with the Jasper Red dual-tone color option, the 42 Bobber will set you back by 2,09,187.
The motorcycle continues with the double cradle tubular chassis continue, but suspensions are re-tuned and the brakes are recalibrated. The 334 cc engine is the same as well. The power output is rated at 30 hp (31 Ps) and 32.74 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed gearbox.

The floating seat is a completely new unit. The pan shape is redesigned, and the cushioning, and upholstery are also new as well. There’s also unique 2-step adjustability available as standard with the seats. This gives the rider the benefit of two riding positions without sacrificing the improved ergonomics.

Other functional design changes include tank pads on the side of an all-new 14-liter fuel tank. The round headlamp, and the independent clock console, are apparently inspired by the 42, and the lighting unit is all LED. As for its appearance, the fender and side panels are finished in gloss black which acts as a good contrast for all new three colors.

“The new 42 is an amalgamation of success stories for us, the Jawa 42 was our quirky take on a modern retro motorcycle that clicked so well amongst youngsters that it became one of our highest selling models. With the Perak, we created an all-new ‘Factory Custom’ segment in the country, and its popularity and fan following is not hidden from anyone,” said Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO-Classic Legends.
Deliveries for the new motorcycles will be available from early next week. Models for test rides will be available from the same time.
