Dehradun: A telephonic conversation between the prime accused and Ankita Bhandari's friend has been accessed by Times Now. Pulkit Arya, son of an ex-BJP minister was named among the three accused in the brutal murder of Ankita Bhandari.
The victim's friend-Pushp reached out to Pulkit Arya on the phone when he was sitting inside a police station, as heard in the telephonic conversation.
Pulkit Arya said that we have spoken with the inspector and they are reaching your place within a few minutes. To which Pushp replied, "You are at the police station now, after this police will go to the resort."
Pulkit Arya said: "Yes, they will go to the resort and they will investigate everything."
Push asks Pulkit Arya, "After you called me yesterday night to take her away from the resort. Since then, why is her number switched off and why have you given personal phone to police? How can someone give their personal phone? "
Pulkit Arya replied, "I have nothing objectional in my personal phone, maybe you have something in your phone."
Meanwhile, Ankita’s father Virendra Singh Bhandari said: "I am not satisfied with the provisional post-mortem report. Until we get the final detailed report, we will not perform her last rites. We also want her case to be taken to the fast-track court to ensure speedy justice."
"I have not received the final reports yet. The provisional report suggests that she was beaten up and then thrown into the river. Therefore, we are awaiting the final report. We will perform the last rites after the reports come," the father of the deceased added.
