Over 19,000 citizens in Pune villages receive property cards after land surveys by drone
Pune's Land Records Department along with the Survey of India has begun a survey of properties in villages using drones. This survey is being done to issue cards with proof of property in villages of the Pune district. So far, 19,309 citizens of various talukas have received property tracts with proof of their house property.

informed that the property of village panchayats will also increase as the property earners in villages will get property cards. Meanwhile, getting loans and mortgages on houses, no boundary disputes in villages, and legal proof of ownership of property for citizens among others, are the benefits of the property card.
