Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate, CUET PG Result 2022 is released today, September 26, 2022. The National Testing Agency, NTA has released the result on the official website--cuet.nta.nic.in. CUET PG Result 2022 is released as per the 'Raw' scores and unlike CUTE UG the marks for PG results are not normalised. As the marks are not normalised, universities will conduct the admission and prepare the rank list on the basis of raw scores secured by the students.
A PTI report quoted University Grants Commission, UGC Chief Jagadesh Kumar, and mentioned, "No normalisation of scores has been done in CUET-PG and the universities will prepare the rank lists on the basis of 'raw marks' and not NTA scores." Marks for the PG exam are not normalised as the exam for CUET PG was conducted in a single shift for most of the subjects.
UGC chief Jagadesh Kumar told PTI why CUET UG result is normalized and PG is not, "The PG exam was held in a single sitting for the majority of subjects, while in the UG exam, the test was conducted in different phases and shifts. Hence, scores had to be normalized to provide a level playing field for all candidates."
CUET PG 2022 exam was administered by the NTA and is conducted for admission into various courses offered by the 66 Central and participating Universities. As the CUET Pg result is declared, candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download the result using their application number and date of birth. Now, the universities will prepare the rank list on the basis CUET PG Scores and conduct the counseling process for further admissions.
