Alia Bhatt has always been vocal about having a huge girl crush on Kareena Kapoor and how she is her favourite actress. In numerous interviews, Alia has revealed that she was obsessed with Kareena and looked up to her as an inspiration. Well, it seems like Alia has found a new fan in Kareena now.

Yes, while promoting her film Laal Singh Chaddha, Kareena was all praise for her sister-in-law and mother-to-be Alia, who has married her cousin Ranbir Kapoor. Yes, Kareena called Alia "brave" for embracing her pregnancy at such a young age and also noted her as one of the finest actors in the last decade.

In a chat with Pinkvilla, Kareena was asked if she has some advice for Alia, who is facing comments from the people for her pregnancy. Kareena said, "She doesn’t need advice on anything...I think that she is the finest actor that has happened in the last decade and for her to be embracing motherhood you know at such a young age, and to choose to do that."

Further praising Alia's acting mettle, Kareena added, "She is such a brave actor, and such a brave person. It’s (pregnancy) the most normal thing, and you know she is possibly going to continue this great run of her career because she is supremely talented. And that’s what, you need to have conviction in your own self and that is the most important thing."

On the work front

The actress is promoting her upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha in full swing. The actress will star in the Hindi adaptation of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump with Aamir Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya. The film will hit the theatres on August 11. It is written by Atul Kulkarni.
