Targeting the urban youth, Honda two wheeler has launched a new sporty, aggressive and powerful bike Honda CB 300F in the street fighter segment. With a Tag Line, the Formidable StreetFighter, comes in two variants Deluxe and Deluxe Pro with a starting price of Rs 2.25 lakhs.But Honda two wheeler HMSIL, is also looking to produce more flex fuel engine based bikes in coming months. RajaGopi, Operating Officer, Premium Motorcycle Business,HMSIL- the new CB300F is world premium launching.- the new StreetFighter is for aggressive customers , the urban riders who loves city biking - HMSIL, already have more than 100 touch points covering 50% of market but going forward Honda aims to double the touch points in 2 years, covering almost 70< of market in India.CB300F is placed in mid size bike segmentThe mid size bike segment prior to Covid was around 1 million bike per annum but now it has come down to 5 -6 lakhs per annum.But there's an attraction in this segmentEconomy, disposable income is growing which will help to escalate the bike sales... likely to again touch 1 million. Sales mark per annum in next 3 years Exports of CB300F is very well on cards , if we get global demand we are ready to exportsChip shortage is still going on, to completely recover it might take another year or two..Honda HMSIL is plans to come up with Flex Fuel based products.. gradually the engine line up with E10, E20 is in plan line...The first flex fuel with E10 blending likely by end of 2024.Honda electric bike is picking up...
