For the promotions of her upcoming release, the actress was seen wearing a black and gold saree, paired with a matching blouse.

The attire is described as "The exquisite saree, handwoven at the brand's Chanderi looms using the region's same time-honoured techniques, beautifully catches the light as it moves. Our signature hand-embroidered floral border further enhances its beauty."
Not just Trisha but her co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has also been making headlines for her promotional looks. For the event today, the actress wore a full-sleeved white anarkali kurta with intricate thread work all over. She paired it with a matching dupatta.
Meanwhile, apart from Trisha, Ponniyin Selvan: I also stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman and R. Parthiban. The music of the film has been composed by A. R. Rahman. It is set to hit the screens on September 30 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
