Seems to be a bad day for BTS' antis. After weeks of ARMY urging BIGHIT Music to act against malicious comments and defamation, the group’s label have released a strongly worded statement against all haters.
Following their legal response process, in which they monitor and collect evidence on malicious posts for 365 days before filing a complaint, BIGHIT Music have finally taken legal action against such accounts. This statement comes as a relief for those fans who have been concerned about BTS member V’s private life.

For those who aren't aware, V has been embroiled in dating rumours with Blackpink’s Jennie for the past few weeks. With no statement or legal action being taken by either of their labels, rumours continued to circulate. The situation spiraled so far out of control that both idols' private lives were affected.
However, with BIGHIT’s latest statement, fans might finally be able to see the end of this. According to the statement, the label has filed additional criminal complaints against postings with personal attacks and defamation.
“We have found multiple defamation postings containing false information about the artists on platforms in and outside of Korea. We also have found that a specific poster has been spreading the same ill-intentioned rumor in multiple platforms and filed a criminal complaint against the poster after gathering all of the repetitively uploaded postings,” the statement read.

Thanking fans for all the evidence, the label added, “We would also like to share with you that after an extended police investigation, we were able to identify the suspect and the case has been sent to the prosecutor's office.”
After the statement was released, a number of people commented on the matter. This included BTS member Jin himself. Taking to Weverse, the singer said, “What did the hater even do that they are being sent to the prosecutor's office, they're asking for trouble.”

With Jin throwing major shade at the ‘specific poster,’ fans have expressed their relief over the BIGHIT's decision.

It is safe to say that BTS' label has taken all necessary steps to ensure the group's privacy and safety.
