The excitement for Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti is getting higher by the day. Fans are looking forward to seeing Mika find his life partner on national television. Apart from that, the audience is thrilled with Shaan’s return to hosting after a long gap of 14 years.
The singer had won people’s hearts with his impressive hosting skills in a number of reality shows before he decided to step away from the role. But, with Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti, Shaan has once again decided to don the host’s cap.
During a recent press conference for the show, Shaan opened up about what made him return to hosting after so many years. He revealed that it was Mika who convinced him.
“I am returning to hosting after 14 years of vanvas. At the beginning, I was a little unsure about whether I should take up hosting once again or not, but then my brother Mika called me himself. He told me that he wanted someone he trusts and someone who would work from the heart. He requested me to be the host of his swayamvar and I was more than happy to oblige,” said Shaan.
In an earlier interview, the Chand Sifarish singer had talked about his camaraderie with Mika, saying that they have become good friends. "We have had our fights at times but he knows that I have nothing against him and he too doesn’t have anything against me. We have now become such fast friends that I have even taken the responsibility of his wedding,” Shaan had told Hindustan Times.
Well, it will certainly be very interesting to see Shaan on the show together as this will be a first of its kind hosting experience for him.
