Chennai: Thrift sale to be hosted on weekend by KKSS and Recycle Mart to encourage recycling
The sale will take place in the White House Convention Hall from Saturday, July 2, at 11 a.m. to Wednesday, July 3, at 6 p.m.

Chennai: Wasted 360 Solutions is hosting a second-hand clothing sale this weekend, in collaboration with Kalaiselvi Karunalaya Social Welfare Society (KKSS) and Recycle Mart. The sale will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, and run until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, in the White House Convention Hall on the KKSS campus in the third block of Mogappair West.
There will be sales of clothing, accessories, home goods, decor, toys, and more that Wasted 360 Solutions and Recycle Mart have selected and curated as part of their waste management and repurposing activities, according to an article by TOI.
Ann Anra is the creator of Wasted 360 Solutions, which attempts to close the sustainability accessibility gap between the ecosystem of recyclers and conscientious customer.
Manikandan, a tech executive who created WRecycle Mart, specialises in recovering, upcycling, and reprocessing fabric materials. A Purushothaman started KKSS, which seeks to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned elders and orphaned children.
