In a major geopolitical development, Sri Lanka has asked the Chinese authorities to defer the arrival of the Chinese spy ship to Hambantota. The Yuan Wang 5 is currently en route to the Hambantota port from the Chinese port of Jiangyin. As per reports, the Indian government has lodged complaints with Colombo and expressed its worries.
