Urfi Javed has been making waves on social media, courtesy of her risqué outfits. From wearing a dress made of sacks and wires to donning a cotton candy outfit, the 24-year has grabbed eyeballs with her fashion experiments. While netizens have often expressed their displeasure over her attires, the Bigg Boss OTT contestant has not let the trolling affect her.
While she became a household name after participating in Karan Johar's BB OTT's first season, the actress didn't enjoy a long stint in the reality show. Urfi, who now spells her name as Uorfi Javed, recalled her journey on the show and revealed that she had borrowed money and clothes to go on Bigg Boss. Yes, you read that right!
The Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actress, while interacting with Siddharth Kannan, opened up about her financial struggles. She shared that she was in debt following her stint in the show as she didn't survive inside for the BB house for a long time.
"For the eight years, I was living a life where I had no money. Bigg Boss mein main udhaar leke gayi thi, jo Bigg Boss mein maine kapde phene the, vo logo se udhaar liya tha. Jab main Bigg Boss se bahar aayi, tab main pure debt mein thi, bahut karze mein thi. Kyunki ek hafte hi the and usse jyada kuch kamaya nahi," she said.
(Translation- I went to Bigg Boss after borrowing money from people. The clothes I wore in the show were borrowed. I was in severe debt following my eviction from the show. I stayed on the show for one week and didn't earn much.)
For the unversed, Urfi was the first contestant to get eliminated from Bigg Boss OTT.
On the professional front, Urfi Javed was last seen in Tere Ishq Mein, which premiered on July 7, 2022. She is yet to announce her next project post the release of her music video.
