Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Madalsa Sharma and Sudhanshu Pandey starrer Anupamaa's recent storyline has grabbed all the attention. We had all seen the entry of Anuj's brother Ankush and his wife, Barkha. Barkha's brother Adhik also comes along. They hide that they have lost all the money and business in the US and now want to have Anuj's business.
However, they are not happy that Anuj has given all his property to Anupamaa. To get the property, Adhik decided to trap Anupamaa's daughter, Pakhi. The latest episode, we saw that Adhik and Barkha have made Pakhi believe that Anupamaa does not love her.

They have tried to trap Pakhi and instigate her against Anupamaa. Pakhi insults Anupamaa and calls her the worst mother. However, during a few episodes, we have seen scenes which hint towards Anuj's death.

It was being reported that Gaurav will be leaving the show. Fans were disappointed that Anuj will not be with Anupamaa. Now, finally a promo has released where we see the future story of Anupamaa and Anuj.
In the promo, we see Anupamaa talking about how our own people hurt us and back bite us. Then, we see Barkha and Ankush telling Anupamaa that just like she trapped Anuj in her love, her daughter, Pakhi is doing the same with Adhik.
Later, Vanraj is seen saying that Anuj's family has shown Anupamaa her real state. We then see Anupamaa on the hospital bed. Choti Anu comes and asks Anupamaa whether her father will never get up again. Anupamaa then tells Anuj that both her and Choti Anu are waiting for him.
Anuj is seen sitting on a wheel chair while Anupamaa decides to make him stand up again. Take a look at the promo:
