Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Navika Kotia revealed that she has been diagnosed with meningitis. She took to social media to inform her followers about her health and share that she would need to stay admitted at the hospital for ten more days. Read on to know what she wrote.
Navika Kotia diagnosed with meningitis
Navika Kotia, who is seen as Maya in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, shared a post on social media to inform her fans that she has been diagnosed with meningitis. On Tuesday (September 27), the TV star posted a note to reveal that she will have to remain in the hospital for ten more days.
The English Vinglish actress expressed her gratitude towards her well-wishers for their love and support, saying that she couldn't reply to all the messages as she is not allowed to use her phone.
"Hey everyone, thank you for all your messages, calls and wishes. Thank you for checking up on me. Sorry I haven't replied to all your messages, I can't use my phone much," she wrote.
Navika shared her health update, stating that she would have to stay hospitalised for 10 days for medical treatment. She said that she was getting better with every passing day. Thanking her followers for their blessings, she promised to be back in action soon.
"I have been diagnosed with meningitis. I am getting better day by day but I still have to stay hospitalised for around 10 more days. Thank you for all the love, will see you guys soon," she said.
Navika entered Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after the show took a one-year leap. She was earlier seen as Chikki in the same show ten years back. Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda play the main leads in the hit daily soap. The makers are expected to bring a change in the track owing to Navika's absence.
