UGC releases combined list of Central University UG admission schedules on the basis of CUET 2022 scores

University Grants Commission, UGC has released a combined list for the on-going undergraduate degree admissions in various central universities. The combined list includes the link to the university portals, admission process, last dates to apply, tentative admission calendar, criteria for preparing merit list on the basis of CUET 2022 scores and date for the commencement of classes.

Admissions to all Central Universities including Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University or JNU, Jamia, AMU, Allahabad University, etc. would be done on the basis of Common University Entrance Test or CUET 2022 scores. National Testing Agency, NTA had conducted the CUET examination and the results were released 10 days ago. The admission process for the various universities has not started.

There are a total of 45 Central Universities which fall under the purview of CUET. Central University of Punjab or CU does not have any UG program and hence is not part of the CUET 2022 admission process. Information on JNU, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, CU of Karnataka, CU of Kerala, Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, The English and Foreign Languages University, Aligarh Muslim Universiy, Mizoram University and Sikkim have not released any notices as yet. Rest all the Central Universities have released and started their undergraduate admissions. Delhi University or DU has received over 6.4 lakh applications at the time of CUET Registrations, by far the largest for the various central universities.

Candidates may please note that the choice of University was asked at the time of filling of CUET application forms. However, fresh applications can now be made as well to the respective university website. Detailed information bulletins for the respective varsities are now available. All students are advised to go through the same carefully.
