Sambhal: A video of woman dancer preforming 'obscene' dance on Ramila stage in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh has gone viral. The video is said to be from Panwasa village under Bahjoi police station, said Sambhal police.
Meanwhile, the district police have booked at least 10 people, all of whom are Ramlila committee members. Police have also booked the unidentified performers.

In the video, people could be seen cheering the dancer. According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Shesh Chandra, a case has been filed after taking cognisance of the viral video where 'obscene' dance was being performed on Ramlila stage.
The SP said police probed the video and found it from Panwasa village. Ramlila committee members Vinod, Sachin, Devendra, Bunty, Manoj, Sonu, Mohit, Vipin and Pushpendra have been booked among the dancers, said a report in Hindi daily Jansatta.
Netizens have reacted sharply after the video went viral. While some are questioning teh local authorities, others are demanding strict action against the organisers.
