Amitabh Bachchan sends hand-written letter to Ajay Devgn for his directorial venture Runway 34, Kajol reacts

Ajay Devgn donned the hat of a director for his latest release Runway 34. Featuring Ajay himself along with Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles, the movie hit the theatres on April 29, 2022. Runway 34 marks the third directorial venture of Ajay Devgn after U Me Aur Hum and Shivaay.

As Ajay Devgn returned to the director’s chair after a long time, his co-star from Runway 34, Amitabh Bachchan sent his famous hand-written letter to Ajay. It read, “Ajay! Ajay! Ajay! An absolute honour to be a part of '34' and to be the recipient of a magnificent director's gift. Your work is superior. The way you have put everything together is simply marvellous. They say it's your best-- but I know that there shall be many more 'bests.' Congratulations.”

Sharing the photo of the handwritten letter by Amitabh Bachchan on his social media, the Golmaal actor also penned down a heartfelt note thanking Big B for his appreciation. Ajay wrote, “When the illustrious and magnanimous Amitabh Bachchan stars in your directorial venture, it is an honour that is hard to encapsulate in words. And when he uses his heartfelt words in a hand-written note of appreciation it stirs emotions that are a heady mix of gratitude, quiet pride and satisfaction. Thank you Amit ji! #Runway34 @amitabhbachchan.”

As soon as Ajay Devgn posted this handwritten note from Amitabh Bachchan with his heartfelt note, his wife and actress Kajol commented on the post. She reacted to both their notes and wrote, “Well deserved words on both sides.”

Inspired by true events, Runway 34 also stars Boman Irani, Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh in pivotal roles. This also marks YouTuber Carryminati’s debut in Bollywood. He was seen playing the cameo role of a flight passenger in this movie.

Meanwhile, talking about his upcoming projects, Ajay Devgn has a number of movies on his kitty. The actor will be next seen featuring in Maidaan, Thank God, Drishyam 2 and Bholaa. He will also appear for a cameo role in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming comedy film Cirkus, which will witness Ranveer Singh playing the lead role.
