Continuing to spread the message of peace in the west, Vivek Agnihotri and wife Pallavi Joshi on Thursday addressed the UK Parliament on a number of topics. The Kashmir Files director and his actress-producer wife were invited to speak at an event, the theme of which was 'India, World Peace and Humanism'.
The special event was attended by a number of MPs from the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Vivek took to Twitter to share the details of his visit to the British Parliament.
"The overwhelming commitment of UK parliamentarians recognising Kashmiri Hindu GENOCIDE is a step further in our mission that the 'Injustice to Kashmiri Hindus is a collective failure of Humanity'. The power of an honest film," Vivek tweeted.
"Last night was historical as for the first time ever so many ideologically diverse MPs, Lords, Baronesses, Mayors & Councillors stood up in support of Kashmiri Hindus and pledged to take the cause of GENOCIDE further at the @UKParliament," he added.

This visit comes as Vivek and Pallavi are on a Humanity Tour in Europe to spread the message of peace. The couple embarked on the tour following the pathbreaking success of The Kashmir Files, which narrates the story of Kashmiri Pandits during the Kashmir insurgency in 1990.
The film took a slow start at the box office but went on to wonders in the later weeks. Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi, among others, The Kashmir Files did a staggering business of over Rs 350 crore worldwide.
