Water cuts in Pune on September 11; see list of affected areas
The Pune Municipal Corporation's water supply department has announced that several areas in the eastern part of the city will face water cuts on Sunday and the supply will be restored late Monday morning.

Pune: Some areas in the eastern parts of Pune will face water supply cuts on Sunday, September 11. The power outage will be to facilitate the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) in carrying out urgent maintenance work at the Bhama-Askhed pumping station.
The water supply is likely to be back late in the morning on Monday, September 12. There is a possibility that the water pressure will be low.
The Water Supply Department of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) informed that the water supply will be affected in Lohegaon, Vimannagar, Vadgaonsheri, Kalyaninagar, Vishrantwadi, Phulenagar, Yerwada, Kalas, Dhanori areas on Sunday.
The Water Supply Department has appealed to the citizens to cooperate.
Meanwhile, the Pune Municipal Corporation water department team inspected some areas of the Pune district on Monday after residents complained of muddy water supply with low-pressure being received in Pune's Peth areas upon restoration of supply after disruptions.
