IndiGo flight searched after threat at Mumbai airport, nothing found
The authorities at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai received the email, which warned them of a bomb on the IndiGo flight. Mumbai: An email was received by the Mumbai airport authorities on Saturday claiming that a bomb was planted on an IndiGo flight in Mumbai. However, it was later turned out to be a hoax, Mumbai Police said on Sunday.
The authorities at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport received the email, which warned them of a bomb on the IndiGo flight. Following this, the flight was inspected but nothing was found, reported news agency ANI citing Mumbai Police.
Further investigation is underway into the matter, they said.
